Despite my best efforts to stay young, my beard is progressively getting more and more grey. Maybe it’s my kids? Maybe it’s the stress of running my own business? Maybe that’s what happens as you approach 40? Or maybe I am destined to get the tap on the shoulder to take over from St Nick when he’s tired of looking at Blitzen’s bum?
Anyway... as my beard continued to “lighten” (read: whiten) I also noticed it was getting a bit tougher, a little more wiry and less enjoyable for my wife (the unsuspecting future Mrs Clause) to strike my beard while we sat on the lounge watching reruns of Seinfeld.
Beard oil (while still good) wasn’t cutting it anymore, so I bought the beard balm. It’s bloody good!
My beard is softer. It’s less “crazy” (my beard is a good 8 inches and flyaways were a problem) and it smells amazing!
From myself and the future Mrs Clause... this beard balm gets two thumbs up!
i just received my order of Tsavo! it literally smells like my childhood. I spent many years in the wood cooking on open fires, having beach side bonfires and enjoying AMAZING times with my friends and family. as for the Tsavo beard oil it smells like a bourbon barrel was burned and put in a bottle!!
I have used several brands of balm over the years. I bought my first tin of Savage Mane over a year ago at an arts/crafts festival and I have since reordered online. I’ve found no other balm that key is my medium length beard soft and the Tsavo scent is unbeatable. My wife and I both love the subtle smoky smell. Definitely will be buying more as needed!
I have tried multiple products over the years but this one is by far my favorite. The scent and the hold require at least a 5 star review.
